Why I started Intuitive Writing
One summer afternoon, in the corner of a favourite café, reading about a book project I had the chance to join, I suddenly realised that since I learned to read and write, I have never stopped writing. From my first wobbly letters to pages of diaries, poems, prose, books and newspapers, the world I stepped into was as magical as Tomoe Gakuen, headmaster Kobayashi Sosaku’s school in Totto-chan: The Little Girl at the Window. There I was listened to, free to dream, able to gaze at beautiful skies, and I grew up with many precious lessons.
Looking back on a life made bright by the pen, I thought: perhaps there are many people out there who love writing as I do but don’t know where to begin. What could I do to help them nurture their love of words, and create work around that love? And so the Intuitive Writing course was born.
